Yulia’s professional experience developed in film. Since 2020, she has worked with prosthetic makeup and special effects, where a convincing result depends on the smallest details. Skin tone, proportions, volume and texture must work together so the viewer believes what they see.
Her training includes the Denis Raykov special makeup school, sculptural portrait studies at Sculpt Art, and a theoretical and practical course in cosmetic finger prosthesis fabrication at a prosthetics and orthotics centre.
Today, in her own prosthetics clinic, Yulia creates custom silicone pieces, including nipples and areolas. Her film experience and knowledge of sculpture and prosthetic techniques help her achieve natural shapes, shades and fine surface texture. 04 / BEFORE OUR FIRST CONVERSATION
It is an external silicone piece that recreates the appearance and texture of a nipple and areola. You can put it on and take it off. We match the shape and shade for one side or a pair.
The edge follows the areola itself. Its thinness and uneven outline help make the transition to the surrounding skin less visible.
Yes. We will discuss making the prosthesis using an impression or a photograph of your remaining nipple. We will agree on a suitable method during the consultation. If we choose an impression, we will send you a kit with suitable silicone. You take an impression and send it back to us. We then make your individual prosthesis from the impression and ship it to you.
